Perfection…Has Its Price

Positioning a series for the Lifetime audience would be a challenge with a show half as dark as Nip/Tuck. We were only able to achieve the right tone by keeping things light and funny. Fortunately, we found a sardonic soundbite by guest star Joan Rivers to kick off the :60 spot nicely.
Sean Prophet wrote, produced, and cut, with music consultation and mixing by Paul Hartwig of Hartwig Music, graphics by Albert Romero of ART, and announce by Vanessa Marshall under Cope Management.
Additional music consulting by Aaron Davis of Megatrax.
Spot was delivered to Warner Bros. Worldwide Television Distribution.
Only An ‘Ace’ Can Beat These Odds
Spring was hired by Warner Bros. to produce the station promo package for the original Ace Ventura: Pet Detective. We provided :30, :20, :15, and :10 second spots.
This is one of those promos we wish could have been a two-minute trailer, there was so much funny. A great start by Jim Carrey to a spectacular career.
Leigh Gregory of Bright Tomorrow Productions provided the script, Sean Prophet cut, mix by Gordon Hookailo of GDH Digital, graphics by Albert Romero of ART, Narration by Jonathan Cook under Cope Management, music by Megatrax.
The Larry Sanders Show
Spring was contracted by Mirage Productions to do the finishing and color correction of the behind-the-scenes materials for Sony’s long-anticipated release of the season 1 DVD of The Larry Sanders Show.
Guest interviews included Jerry Seinfeld, Tom Petty, Alec Baldwin, David Duchovny, and Sharon Stone, among others.
Each member of the cast was interviewed, and the DVD also contains an hour-plus documentary containing anecdotes, outtakes, and audition tapes of the original cast members. It was great fun, and Garry Shandling even poked his head into the edit bay for a few minutes. The folks at Mirage are fantastic to work with, and it was a privilege to help them finish this project.
